Educators must continue to shift the narrative and position of Black male college athletes receiving special accommodations and support services as knowledge holders who are valuable, capable, and essential members of their educational journeys and critical contributors to the community college educational system. 

This will require educators, coaches, administration, student peers, parents, and family members to find community and collectively humanize and dignify this particular group of students to ensure equity, inclusion, and acceptance.
